A Day For Connor

As we do each year, we spent Connor’s birthday together as a family … to celebrate and honor his special day. The kids look forward to his birthday as much as they do their own. And this year we chose to spend time together at Kingsley Lake - our go-to “happy place”. They always are also eager to send him balloons with special hand written notes and drawings.

This year, I learned of something new - - the kids have what they call, “a Heaven phone”. This old phone came from Ms. Jean’s house after she moved. And I had no idea that the kids have been using the phone to “talk to animals and people who are in Heaven.” And so in addition to talking with some of our old dogs … Marshall, Kennedy, Ticker and Sage to name a few … they all also talked to Connor last Sunday :) Happy 6th birthday Connor.
