Emily's 1st Day Of PreK!

She did it! Emily did awesome on her first day of school yesterday! And Mother Nature was kind enough to help her celebrate the special day by producing the Solar Eclipse on her first day back to school!! We immediately went out to watch the eclipse after picking her up and while our original eclipse watching destination fell through due to weather ... thanks to GPS, satellite imagery and weather.com, we were able to drive far enough away from the thick clouds and rain to get a perfect, unobstructed view! It was well worth it! And we finished the busy day with a dinner out - to the girl's favorite restraint - "the grass resteraunt" (Wahoo Grill). What an exciting day!
