Two Weeks Old

Anabelle turned 2 weeks old yesterday and she has become such a funny little girl with even more expressions and longer periods of being very alert and interactive. She now makes eye contact with us and likes to look out the windows at the big world outside … both of which are pretty neat. We’ve been working on trying to get her to realize that day time is for being awake … and night time is for sleeping. She’s a very good baby … so we really can’t complain … but she does seem to have her days and nights confused a bit as she sleeps for hours and hours during the day (through dogs barking and howling, vacuuming, people coming and going, etc). We actually have to wake her up to feed her throughout the day. However at night, she has no problem waking us up as she wants to eat every 2 hours. Come 6 AM … she’s again ready to sleep the day away but then at 10 PM … her little eyes pop open and she’s wide awake! As you can see … she has no trouble getting her beauty sleep during the day … and I suspect Mark & I probably have similar appearances at night during our 2 hour stretches of sleep …
