Refreshing

Since Mark has been gone, Anabelle and I don’t generally get out much. There’s just so much to keep up with and poor Anabelle ends up having to tag along while I mow the lawn, tidy up the house, feed the animals, get groceries for us and the animals, etc. etc. My days “off” are always filled with so many chores so rarely do we do anything “normal”.  She is such a good sport though and even in this Florida heat & humidity, she’s a trooper when we head out twice a day to feed the critters. She rides along in her stroller with sippy cup in hand (it’s important to stay hydrated you know) and lately, with mosquito net around her, as the bugs are ruthless. Luckily, Granny C has a pool that we’ve frequented twice now!! It was wonderful!! I don’t remember the last time I “went swimming” and Anabelle loved the refreshing water and really liked watching the other “little people” play. While we only got out for a few hours … it was wonderfully refreshing and I’ve told Mark that we definitely need a pool. Anabelle agrees.
