New Floor!

We had a productive day yesterday and installed new flooring in the living room! Probably sounds silly … but we’ve actually been living with a bare cement floor (very convenient for lots of dogs!) for far too long … and we figured little Anabelle would appreciate a “real” floor … especially once she starts crawling! As most projects do … it took us twice as long as anticipated … but we got it done and it’s definitely a step up from cement! Unfortunately, Mark and I realized that we seem to be “gettin’ a little old” … as we were both rather sore this morning! We also rearranged the furniture a bit … in preparation for the swings, toys, walkers, bouncy seats, play pens (I’m told they are called “pack and plays” now) and various other baby supplies which will soon take over our living space. We have a couple more “projects” that we’d like to complete around the house before Anabelle arrives … but we’re making progress!

    Daddy and I are doing the dance of joy! What a great looking floor!!! Boy you guys did good. Daddy wanted to point out that you are not old, but you are NINE months pregnant. Enjoy your new floor. Love to all of you.
