Happy Halloween

It’s been the year of the lady bug and so despite that fact that Miss Anabelle was a fancy, little lady bug last year … we couldn’t help but dress her up in this adorable, plush costume (courtesy of Granny C) for Halloween this year! Next year, we’ll choose something different, but who ever said that you couldn’t be a lady bug twice?!?! She does make a good lady bug! We celebrated the holiday yesterday and actually went to the local zoo. Anabelle’s little pal, Levi, met us there (with his parents, of course) and the two little ones had quite an enjoyable time. Levi kept being mistaken as a cow … but wanted to be sure that we clarified and let everyone know that he was infact dressed up as a Holstein bull. So, no candy this year … but maybe next year. The little bull and lady bug had fun … and looked pretty darn cute in the process.

    Anabelle is the very cutest lady bug ever!! I am impressed that she kept her hat on, as she usually isn’t fond of hats. She must have known it was part of her costume. Looks like she was having fun! Of course I knew immediately that Levi was a cute little BULL. Thanks for sharing the pictures!!
