Happy 1st Birthday!

Can you believe that 1 year ago, little Anabelle was born?! In some ways, it seems like so long ago. It’s hard to remember her being so tiny and weighing only 6 lbs, for example! And in other ways, it seems like this past year has gone by so fast! It certainly seems like she’s always been here!  We’re saving the “real” celebration for when Mark gets home. But we made a point to play a bit more today and had a relatively low-key, “normal” day at home. I did have the day off from work; which was really nice. Anabelle got some beautiful flowers from Daddy; along with a great greeting from Afghanistan. She also got a yummy fruit bouquet and didn’t waste any time digging right in! She even got a singing telegram this morning from “Auntie Hope” & friends at my office :) All in all, I think she had a pretty good day and I’m glad to have been able to be with her all day long.  Happy 1st birthday Miss Anabelle!! You have brought so much to our family and we love you so much!

    Anabelle has been such a joy to all of us since she was born. We cannot wait for you three to be together again and look forward to celebrating Anabelle’s birthday and Mark’s return! Love to you all !!!!

    What !! I can not believe Anabelle is 1 Year Old either! Because we kept talking about Mark coming home in September and celebrating her birthday I totally thought her real birthday was in September!
    So sorry I missed it!! Happy Birthday you little lady bug!!
