Good Morning Anabelle

Anabelle is a very good baby! She wakes briefly at night to eat and to get her diaper changed … and then snuggles back in to fall asleep. And while it’s hard to choose a particular “favorite” time of the day (as she’s so good and absolutely adorable at all times of the day!) both Mark and I agree that she’s particular cute in the mornings right after she wakes up from a good night’s sleep. Generally, she’s still sleeping when we get up in the AM’s … so we let all the dogs out and start the morning feeding routine with the animals while the “little monkey” (that’s what I’ve inadvertently started calling her) sleeps in a bit. Then we  wake her up for a diaper change and breakfast. Since she’s swaddled overnight … she has lots of stretching to do in the AM when we un-swaddle her. She happily stretches and wiggles around and is then ready to start another new day! The day couldn’t start much better than this for any of us!
