Baby Shower

Due to our hectic work schedules, Mark’s frequent traveling and all of our responsibilities with Second Chance Farms … we planned to have our baby shower rather close to Anabelle’s anticipated due date. Most first babies arrive a bit late anyway … which is what we were counting on. However, Anabelle, as many had suspected, didn’t want to wait for a silly “due date”. So she opted to arrive early … four days before her baby shower to be exact. And it ended up being perfect timing … as Anabelle was able to meet friends and family who were in town for the shower! Not too many babies attend their own baby shower! But thanks to Amy & Kelly, Aunt Lisa & Uncle Brian, Grandma & Grandpa MacDonald and numerous, wonderful friends … the shower was a huge success! Mark, Anabelle and I were able to enjoy ourselves and to spend time with friends and family who helped to welcome Miss Anabelle into our lives!
